Bassett to play for Hornets in summer league

Armon Bassett will have at least one chance to prove he belongs in the NBA.

Despite not being selected in last month's NBA Draft, the former Bobcat has been named to the New Orleans Hornets' roster for the NBA Summer League.

Bassett received one of 12 roster spots on the team. He is one of nine players on the roster with no previous NBA experience.
