Rachel Bernhard's Top 5 Fall TV Shows
1. Grey’s Anatomy
(ABC, Thursdays at 9 p.m.)
I don’t really have anything witty or snide to say about this one, so I’ll go with the old standby: McDreamy is hot.
2. 30 Rock
(NBC, Wednesdays at 8 p.m.) and Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip
(NBC, Mondays at 10 p.m.)
These two NBC shows share the number two spot because, basically, they look like the same show. But there’s one thing I know for sure: It’s good to see that Tracy Morgan (30 Rock) will no longer pay for his weekly meals using government-issued food stamps.
3. Ugly Betty
(ABC, Thursdays at 8 p.m.)
Here’s a show about an awkward, homely girl who’s intimidated by
her surroundings – and impossibly good-looking coworkers. Now I finally understand why all those cameras have been following me around lately…
4. Nip/Tuck (FX, Tuesdays at 10 p.m.)Now that the whole mystery of “the Carver” has been solved, we can get back to what this plastic surgery drama is really all about: the sex.
5. Friday Night Lights
(NBC, Tuesdays at 8 p.m.)
As if MTV’s Laguna Beach and Two-a-Days didn’t make me feel creepy enough, NBC gives me yet one more opportunity to ogle a bunch of high school boys with their shirts off.
