Airbands, which drew members of the greek and non-greek community to The Convo, was the final event of Greek Week, a week designed to promote greek unity and provide service to the community, said Tim Adams, one of the event's three chairpersons.

    Board considers 8 percent housing surcharge

    The OU Board of Trustees formally accepted a $137 million plan Saturday to renovate university residence and dining halls during the next 20 years.
    The trustees will consider an 8 percent surcharge on room-and-board fees at the June budget-setting meeting, Gary North, vice president for administration, said.


    Trustees approve bridge and accessibility projects

    The OU Board of Trustees approved building a bridge to 21st century recreation at OU.
    The trustees agreed this weekend to advertise for bids to create a footbridge across the Hocking River to provide access to three new holes planned for the university golf course.


    Professors get technical

    Last July, the Ohio Board of Regents awarded OU a $922,358 grant for technology-related projects, which is being used to help professors across the university integrate computers and new equipment into their everyday curriculum. Some professors already have started using the funds through the Enhancing Learning through Technology program.
