WASHINGTON (AP) - The House of Representatives is increasingly more likely to vote for a formal impeachment inquiry in the next few weeks, congressional officials said Sunday, a step that could ratchet up the political jeopardy confronting President Clinton.

    Wisconsin badgers Bobcats 45-0 in Madison

    MADISON, Wisc. - The word "hike" meant one simple thing Saturday at Camp Randall Stadium in Madison, Wisc.

    It meant that in the seconds following the pronunciation of the word, Wisconsin players moved forward, Ohio players moved backwards, and the football moved anywhere Wisconsin wanted it to go. As if it was personally choreographed by Wisconsin head coach Barry Alvarez, this happened throughout the entire game, and the Bobcats lost to the Badgers 45-0.

    Volleyball wins three of four

    Sammy Sosa tied Mark McGwire on Sunday, connecting twice against the Milwaukee Brewers to raise his total to 62.

    Field hockey team splits in Virginia

    The Ohio field hockey team defeated Virginia Commonwealth 3-2 in overtime Sunday in Richmond, Va., to follow up a 2-1 loss to William and Mary Saturday in Williamsburg, Va.

    Ohio takes pair of 6-0 victories

    The Ohio soccer team kept the inaugural Bromley Classic Soccer Championship at home by beating Wofford College 6-0 Saturday and Youngstown State 6-0 Sunday.

    Ohio (4-2) placed four players on the all-tournament team, including the tournament's most valuable player, forward Carley Knox. Knox had four goals over the weekend.
