Committee impeaches Clinton

AP

WASHINGTON (AP) - In a historic step taken strictly along party lines, the House Judiciary Committee voted yesterday night for an open-ended impeachment inquiry of President Clinton. The top Republican lawyer cited ''substantial and credible evidence'' of 15 possible grounds for impeachment.
The roll call for a formal inquiry under Watergate-style rules was 21-16, with all the panel's Republicans in favor and all Democrats opposed. The full House is expected to agree to the inquiry later this week, thus making Clinton only the third president in American history to be subjected to the threat of formal impeachment proceedings.

What's not intriguing about stripping? Men come in flocks to throw money at what they can see in a magazine or at home. It is one of the oldest professions around, and it is arguably more popular today than it has ever been.

These revelations and more are what drew Athens resident Angie Coffin to filming a documentary on this business, which will be shown today at the Union Bar and Grill, 18 W. Union St., at 9 p.m.

The top rookies on the Ohio club hockey team this season are more seasoned than green.

    Athletes need money too

    THE POST

Imagine an athlete in a gym, on a track or on a field. This athlete has a full scholarship; the athlete's education is free. Countless days of practice, involving blood, sweat and tears are spent training for the athlete's sport. But the athlete has one problem among all others. This problem is not about the sport, though. It's a problem most college students face - not enough money.

The landlord of an off-campus house, with its utilities and ungodly rent, needs to be paid. Books for classes need to be bought. Good times with friends need to be had. The money for it all has to come from somewhere.
