Administrative Assistant- Kids on Campus. An out-of-school educational and leadership enrichment and nutrition program for children in the first through sixth grades sponsored by the Community Partnership Initiative. The program provides academic, personal, physical, healthy decision-making, conflict resolution, career exploration, and recreational enrichment activities for Athens county. Responsibilities include: manages program office for administrative and fiscal matters, assists with program operatons such as documentation, oversees all database develo ment, assists in monitoring program budgets, grant and contract accounts, special projects, researches and responds to requests forspecific information, creates/supervises creation of a newsletter, creates documents ready for publication by professional staff, and supervises secretary, paraprofessionals, work-study college students, and volunteers. Candidates must be organized, work well under deadlines, have strong communication skills, fiscal acuity, computer literacy, and creative problem-solving skills. The position is full time, and is grant/contract funded. Salary: $26,000.00 plus benefits. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in related field: business, family studies, education, social work, children development would be appropriate but not exclusive of other degrees. Person must have knowledge of database rpagrams, word processing, and office management. Three years of experience in related field. Interviewing to begin May 3, 1999 and continue until position is filled.
