"It's my happening baby, and it freaks me out!"
Those attending the Union tonight, may feel the need to toss out an Austin Powers-derived exclamation upon hearing the very mod sounds emanating from the stage.
The Revelers are from Cleveland and boast a sound reminiscent of The Who right around when they did "Can't Explain", but if you want to make them happy, ask to hear their cover of The Flamin's Groovies' "Shake Some Action" - they really like to play it.
The Tax is the latest project from our favorite local garage rockers, Tim Sesher and Todd Pannent (formerly of the InSect) and some other local rock luminaries, and rumor has it they rock.
The other act on the bill is a solo appearance by the guy who plays Theremin for Pittsburgh's psychedelic/garage punk kings The Mount McKinleys. Yeah baby!
