Junior Gerald Whissel is running as an independent candidate for Student Activities Commission at-large representative.

Whissel said he wants to make SAC funds more evenly distributed.

SAC, a division of Ohio University's Student Senate, is the sole allocator of money to student organizations. A student general fund provides money for the budget.

Whissel also said he would like to see organizations return the money they do not spend to SAC at the end of the quarter.

"I just want to get more people involved on campus," Whissel said.
