Local men held in Georgia carjacking

FAYETTEVILLE, Ga. (AP) - A woman abducted by a carjacker thwarted the crime by secretly dialing 911 on her cell phone and then talking with the driver, dropping clues for the emergency dispatcher into the conversation.
Green left the phone hidden in the bag and tried to give the dispatcher clues about what had happened and where she was.
To describe their location for
the dispatcher, Ms. Green asked the driver to let her out at
landmarks along the way and gave hints on what direction the car was traveling.
The carjacking began as Ms. Green waited outside a store for a friend. When she crawled into
the back seat to retrieve her daughter's juice cup, a man jumped in
and drove away with Ms. Green and the baby in the back. He soon stopped to pick up another man.
After detecting enough clues about the car's location, the dispatcher sent officers to intercept the car in nearby Riverdale.
Two Washington County men, Stephen Eric Bonnett, 18, of Little Hocking and David E. McDonald, 21, of Belpre, were charged
with kidnapping and auto theft.
Police said Bonnett was the driver and McDonald was the man who climbed in later.
Ms. Green said she couldn't believe how calm she was during the ordeal.
"The angels came and took my body over and was doing all the
talking," she said.
Earlier this week, Green met the dispatcher who handled her cellular call and led police to the spot
where Bonnett and McDonald were captured.
The two women met with a
tearful hug.
