LANCASTER (AP) - Police found a 3-year-old girl missing
since Monday alive and arrested a man living in the house where she was found.
Ashley Taggart was found yesterday afternoon after police executed a search warrant at a house near where she disappeared from her back yard.
Police said a man has been arrested in connection with the girl's disappearance but didn't identify him or the charge.
WBNS-TV reported that police found the girl in the attic of the house. She was gagged, with her feet and hands bound with duct tape.
The girl was being treated for dehydration at Fairfield Medical Center in Lancaster.
The girl was moderately dehydrated and had some marks on her, although Dye wouldn't elaborate.
Dozens of jubilant residents and members of search parties lined Main Street in Lancaster on Thursday afternoon and evening with signs that said ''Ashley Found'' and ''Ashley Home.''
The girl's mother, Jennifer Peters, reported her daughter missing about 3 p.m. Monday. She said she went inside to gather some belongings to take to her mother's house down the street. When she returned, Ashley was gone.
