During her initial appearance in juvenile court, an 18-year-old Warren High School student in Washington County admitted yesterday to discarding her infant in the trash after giving birth Oct. 26, 1998.
The teen-ager, who was 17 years old at the time of the crime, admitted to delinquency charges alleging that she committed acts which would constitute involuntary manslaughter if the acts had been committed by an adult.

'Present Laughter' takes stage at Stuart's Opera House

The story of a man loved by too many will take center stage in Nelsonville as the Athenian Players Theatre and Berean Community Players perform "Present Laughter" at Stuart's Opera House tonight.
Director Lonny Fraze said the play, written by Noel Coward, is set in the 1940s and focuses on a romantic comedian named Garry Essendine, who is overwhelmed by the attention he receives from others - among them a young playwright, a 21-year-old lady and the wife of one of his partners.

since Monday alive and arrested a man living in the house where she was found.
Ashley Taggart was found yesterday afternoon after police executed a search warrant at a house near where she disappeared from her back yard.

The survey, designed to assess the attitudes of Americans toward sexual health, found that 82 percent of 500 adults ranked a satisfying sex life as important or very important.
