Ping prices discouraging
Editor,
The price you pay for Ping during the summer and the rest of the year is the exact same, but there's a glitch. During the summer, Ohio University charges by each session, both of which last five weeks apiece. I did not attend classes, so I had to pay daily, as opposed to those who automatically pay as a part of their tuition.
I forked over $34.50 for a Second Session membership. When I looked at my receipt, I noticed it said the expiration date was Aug. 20, which is when the date for the session ends. But what about the last two weeks of summer before school starts? I have to pay $5 a day to go to Ping!
I think OU should cut us some slack. I am a full-time student three quarters a year and OU already receives a ton of money for Ping through people who have to pay tuition but never use Ping. I use Ping frequently, but for two weeks I was out of a membership and it just seemed to be a rip-off.
