Taylor to Speak On Diversity

Ohio University's Student Senate is sponsoring a Free Your Mind Forum from 7 to 9 p.m today in the Baker University Center Ballroom.

Christine Taylor, associate vice president for administration, will be speaking at the event, which will focus on understanding the cultural differences on OU's campus.

"We want everyone to discuss the inequalities and equalities on campus," said Jeevon Harris, Senate's black affairs commissioner.

"Taylor is easy to listen to, and she has a real positive attitude toward students, which is why we chose her," he said.

Positive United Real Experiences, a diversity awareness action group, will perform at the forum. In an effort to draw interest Harris declined to comment about other activities.

The forum is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be provided.
