Ohio forward Lori Moorman tallied double figures for the 21st time this season against Northern Illinois on Saturday. The game marked the 16th time in a row she has reached double figures.

"The defenses of the teams we have been playing have really been keying in on Lori," coach Lynn Bria said. "The fact that she is still making shots shows how mentally tough she is, and how high her concentration level is."

With 25 points against the Huskies, Moorman surpassed the 20-point mark for the seventh time this season.

Three other Bobcats have reached the double-figure mark at least 10 times this season. Guard Cathy Szall has tallied double figures 15 times, guard Heather Laughlin has done it 13 times, and guard Ronita Whitfield has topped 10 points12 times.

Laughlin getting closer to 1,000 career points

Laughlin currently stands at 965 career points, just 35 shy of 1,000. Only nine other players have reached the 1,000-point level in the history of Ohio women's basketball. Laughlin tallied 11 points against Northern Illinois on Saturday.

The senior guard has four more regular season games to join the other nine women with 1,000 career points.

Szall tallies more three pointers

Szall moved into fourth place on the season three-point list with 36 during the Bobcats game against Bowling Green last Feb. 7. Szall added two more to her season total against Northern Illinois on Saturday. Szall is just one three-point field goal away from moving into third place in the MAC standings.

Szall also moved into first place on the Ohio career three-point-field-goals-attempted list, with 366 this season. The previous record for attempts was 363, held by Marlene Stollings, who played from 1997 to1998.

RedHawks come to The Convo

The Miami RedHawks come to The Convo on Wednesday to take on the Bobcats for the second time this season.

When the Bobcats last met Miami on Jan. 27 at Miami, the RedHawks came out victorious 56-53.
