University hires transportation leaderOhio University hired a director of transportation to fill a new position. Sherry Barnes' duties will include overseeing operation of vehicle and bus charter services, the university garage, fueling station and Bobcat Express shuttle, as well as budget issues, according to an OU news release. Barnes previously was operations supervisor of transportation at Penn State University, according to the release. Barnes could not be reached for comment. – Kevin A. Schneider
