Counsels agree on a later trial
The trial of Eli D. Fisher, 121 Lancaster St., has
been continued until 9 a.m. March 20.
Fisher's trial was scheduled to begin yesterday in Judge Alan Goldsberry's
courtroom in the Athens County Court of Common Pleas, according to court
records. The trial was continued based on an agreement of counsel.
Fisher faces charges of complicity to possession of marijuana with
specification for forfeiture, according to court records. Complicity to
possession is helping others obtain, possess or use marijuana. Specification
of forfeiture means any personal property connected with the crime can
be confiscated.
The charges stem from a police investigation last May at Amerihost
Inn, 20 Home St., according to court records.
