OU student indicted for selling drugs

The case against an Ohio University student was bonded over to the Athens Court of Common Pleas March 17. Nicholas J. Gill was arrested after police searched his James Hall room in February. They found three ounces of psilocybin mushrooms, three capsules of ecstasy and about $850. Gill declined comment in February. He was first charged with possession of drugs in Athens Municipal Court. His case was then taken to the Common Pleas grand jury, which indicted Gill on one count of trafficking in marijuana, two counts of aggravated trafficking in drugs and two counts of aggravated possession of drugs. The jurors found there was enough evidence to prosecute Gill for selling drugs Jan. 12 and on three occasions in February. He will be arraigned March 29.
