OUPD collects lost items

Items that the Ohio University Police Department has collected that were lost, misplaced or seized are available to be claimed by their owners.

Wallets, purses, shoes, cell phones, keys and other items have been turned into or recovered by the OUPD, according to an OUPD news release. The Office of Surplus Management also has items turned in from various Lost and Found locations.

Any item not claimed will be donated to a local charity, according to the release. Property claims are available at the OUPD office in Scott Quadrangle or the Office of Surplus Management, which is located at The Ridges.
