Dragon festival to be held at StroudsDragons will invade Strouds Run State Park from 1 to 5 p.m. Saturday. The Dragon Boat Festival, a Chinese holiday, consists of eating rice dumplings, called zongzi, and a dragon boat race in order to remember Chinese icon, Qu Yuan. The Dragon Boat Festival, also known as Duanwu Jie, is sponsored by the Chinese Student & Scholar Association, the International Student Union, and Student Activities Commission. - Megan Kuhn |
