Clarification:

The article, “Indian ‘festival of lights’ to brighten Baker Ballroom” that ran Nov. 8 said, “President of the ISA, Anupama Nagpal, said the organization has spent about $4,000 on preparations for the event and will use the profits to reimburse the ISU.”

This statement is misleading because it allows readers to believe the Indian Students Association funded their Diwali event, when in actuality funding came directly from the ISU. The money that was brought by the event was returned to the ISU to pay off the debt from the event.
