CPR class scheduled at O'BlenessAnyone interested in learning how to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation can register for a CPR course offered at O'Bleness Memorial Hospital. The American Heart Association course will take place from 6:30 p.m. until 9:30 p.m. Sept. 20 in the hospital's basement conference room. In addition to teaching adult, child and infant CPR techniques, the course includes information about normal heart and lung anatomy and function, coronary artery disease and risk factors and warning signs associated with heart attacks and strokes. The last day to register is Monday. The $10 fee can be waived for anyone unable to pay. |
