Athens resident pled not guilty to 3 felony counts

Athens resident, James M. Creamer, 31, Rainbow Lake Road, pleaded not guilty to one count of felonious assault, which is a first-degree felony, and two counts of failure to comply to the signal of a police officer, which are both third-degree felonies, according to Athens County Common Pleas court records.

Creamer was indicted on Aug. 24, for these charges.

Judge Alan Goldsberry set bond at $250,000, according to a press release from the Athens County prosecuting attorney's office. The prosecuting attorney's office has also filed a motion to revoke Creamer's probation on a prior failure to comply conviction, according to the release.

Creamer's next pre-trial is scheduled at the Athens County Common Pleas Court on Oct. 22, at 9 a.m.
