Why do we care about your email address: Sometimes, we get error reports which we could respond to: such as 'why we won't fix this bug' or something along those lines. However, without a email address to respond to, there's not too much that we can do about that. So, it's something of a prompt to people so that they remember to include it if they want a response. We do not collect e-mail addresses. We do not sell or give away e-mail addresses. We will not use your e-mail address for anything aside from personal communication with you about your submission. We will not spam you. We hate spam, too; we won't contribute to the problem for anyone else.
